Synchromesh Retailer is for small and medium sized businesses who want to build and maintain their own website and who also want to sell their products or services online.

It has all the same features as SynchroMesh Classic, and uses the same Content Management System, therefore requiring the same minimal technical skills. It also incorporates an ecommerce module.

Industry-leading security, an impressive selection of online reporting facilities, postage management tools e.g. print postal labels, and the fact that it's a familiar and trusted name are all pretty significant (Dell, Canon and Boots have recently voted with their corporate feet by switching to PayPal on their respective websites).

Equally important is the fact that you can start accepting credit and debit card payments via your website almost immediately without having a Merchant Account with a bank. Setting up a PayPal Business Account is instant and there's no set-up charge; fees are transaction based, starting at 3.4% + 20p.
