Success Stories
We've helped a lot of people to set up their websites and, equally importantly, we continue to work with them to make sure that the site works effectively in promoting their products or services.
Some were start-up businesses needing branding, others already had an identity and wanted this reflected in their site, and a few already had a website but needed it enabled for ecommerce.
The following case studies represent each of these types of customer. Take a look at their sites: they are genuine.

Paul was trying to get his garden landscaping/maintenance business off the ground, primarily by doing leaflet drops. He had no branding and a limited budget.
We designed a logo for him and built a site as he didn't feel confident enough to do so himself. The logo design spec was brief: "My van is dark blue. It needs to look good on there".
In fact, Paul thought it looked so good on his van, he had it put on his workwear too.
Having designed and built his website, we set up a GoogleAd campaign for Paul, with a selection of keywords which would ensure the AdGroups only attracted clicks from people within the geographical area in which Paul operates. He's since won several sizeable contracts as a direct result of the ad.
Paul says:
"Cosnetics Web Solutions Limited have been invaluable in creating professional branding for my business. Their knowledge and expertise in online marketing has resulted in my workload doubling. Problems and queries have been dealt with promptly helping to maintain an excellent service."

www.greyhoundmegastore.com
Mark and Martina run the Greyhound Megastore. They had a nice looking website, but no online marketing and visitors to the site were very scarce indeed. In May 2006, in response to a distress call from Martina, we therefore offered to set up and run an advertising campaign comprising several GoogleAds. Traffic - and sales - began to increase straight away with 3,207 visits in June. The figure has increased steadily every month, hitting six figures in October 2006 with 10,360 visits.
It's still going up 15 months later, reaching 18,320 in December 2007. Not hits or page views: visits. That's a lot of customers. Buying stuff.
The original CMS - looking a little tired at this point - was replaced in January 2007 with SynchroMesh Retailer, which makes it very much easier for Mark and Martina to keep on top of their now thriving ecommerce business.
Mark and Martina say:
"We have tried a number of companies in the website field but Cosnetics is easily the best. They have developed two sites for us and both have more than paid for themselves, not only because they have been expertly designed but also because Cosnetics have provided a top class after sales service."

www.faypagesilver.co.uk
Fay lives on St Martin's in the Isles of Scilly. She makes and sells beautiful silver jewellery which she displayed on a website, but which was not enabled for ecommerce.
We therefore used SynchroMesh Retailer to create an ecommerce site for Fay, keeping the look and feel of the original site but with a few subtle design changes to enhance the customer experience.
Fay is thrilled with how well the site is working and, in particular, with how easy it is to update the content herself.
Fay says:
"I run a business designing and making jewellery on the Isles of Scilly - my remote location means a small customer base, especially in the winter months! Cosnetics upgraded my existing website to an ecommerce one and within weeks orders increased.
I am a self-confessed technophobe but update and manage my online store with no hiccups thanks to the simple, easy to use software and clear, step-by-step instructions from Cosnetics. The site was upgraded within a matter of days and Cosnetic's designers gave sound advice on layout and design which has been of great benefit to the site.
Thanks to this new site I'm accessing new customers from further afield and am able to focus on new marketing ideas - Cosnetics have offered to arrange an online ad campaign so I'm anticipating a rush!"
